The COVID-19 pandemic has presented many challenges for patients and medical clinics alike. During these difficult times we don't want the cardiac care of our patients to suffer.
As always, our core value to provide accessible and affordable cardiac care remains strong. That's why we have expanded our Holter @ Home service and cut the travel fee to patients needing this service.
The Holter @ Home service has been quite successful since we launched earlier this year. Our device technician attends the patients home or workplace at an agreed time, fits the device and then returns the following day to collect the device. During the current crisis the patient will answer a short health survey prior to our technician attending, if the patient is deemed to be a risk to our technician a 'contact-less' delivery of the device will take place and detailed attachment instructions will be provided to the patient.
A $30 travel fee is usually payable for this service, however we are pleased to provide this service AT NO COST to all DVA patients and those aged over 65. All other patients will enjoy this service at a discounted rate of $20.
We've also expanded our target area for this service to now include Melbourne CBD areas all the way down to the Bass Coast region, over 250 suburbs are included in this service.... a more detailed suburb list is available in the document below or by clicking here.
